The workshop is led by Dr. Bob Wright, the best-selling, internationally recognized author, speaker, and trainer dedicated to empowering leaders to become transformational leaders through skills that help them realize their goals and dreams.

Dr. Bob Wright | CEO, Wright Foundation for the Realization of Human Potential

Dr. Bob Wright is an internationally recognized, best-selling author, speaker, and trainer dedicated to developing transformational leaders and high-performing teams. A master educator and theoretician in human potential, Dr. Wright provokes leaders to realize their highest potential through tough reality checks and responsible living. He coaches CEOs, entrepreneurs, couples, parents, and individuals to build a world that works for everyone, one person at a time. He also serves as Professor of Transformational Leadership at the Wright Graduate University, which he co-founded. Dr. Wright is the author of Beyond Time Management: Business with Purpose. He holds an Ed.D. from Fielding Graduate University.

Dr. Don Beck | Professor Emeritus, Wright Graduate University

Dr. Beck is a professor, geopolitical advisor, and theorist focusing on social psychology and its effect on culture. He is the co-author of Spiral Dynamics, which presents an evolutionary human development model. Throughout his career, Dr. Beck put the model into action. He played a significant behind-the-scenes role in the transformation of South Africa, making more than 35 trips to the country. The Texas State Legislation recognized Dr. Beck, a Texas native, “for his invaluable contributions toward the peaceful creation of a democratic South Africa.” He also worked with police departments in Texas and consulted with companies including Southwest Airlines, Whole Foods, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Rich Lyons | Executive Vice President, Capgemini, Founder Lyons School of Transformational Business

Rich Lyons, founder Lyons School of Transformational Business, and internationally recognized entrepreneur, will present his leadership journey in growing a company and leaders from startup to acquisition. Rich founded Lyons Consulting Group (LYONSCG), an award-winning digital and global commerce service provider acquired by Capgemini, the French multinational consulting firm. Under Rich’s leadership, LYONSCG became one of the most successful acquisitions in Capgemini’s history. With its customer-first focus, LYONSCG was consistently listed in the Inc. 1000 and recognized as one of the 101 Best and Brightest Companies to work for. The firm’s creativity led to industry recognition, including Webby, Stevie, and Davey swards, to name a few.

Brad Anderson | Former Vice Chairman-CEO, Best Buy Co. Inc.

Brad turned the culture of the electronics retailer inside out to serve customers and build a future for employees. For his courage in using
Transformational Leadership to save Best Buy during a dying age of tech and appliance big-box stores, Brad received the Wright Foundation’s 2008 Transformational Leadership Award.

Brad rose from salesperson to CEO at Best Buy by focusing on the customer. He led teams that built Best Buy into the largest consumer electronics retailer in 2004, with more than 750 stores. As a salesperson on the floor, he transformed the sales culture by keeping Best Buy true to its advertising, selling customers their “best buys.” Rising to Vice President of Sales, he eliminated sales commissions to ensure salespeople focused solely on customer satisfaction.

Brad focused on the success of store employees, ensuring that everyone in the store could have the future they wanted. He also elevated women rapidly, which helped turn the company around at a key point in its history.

Matt Booty | Head of Xbox Game Studios, Microsoft Corp.

Matt Booty is Corporate Vice President at Microsoft and oversees all games studios and production worldwide. He’s a games industry leader working with studios that produce worldwide hits, including Minecraft, Fallout, and Doom. He integrated studios and creative teams into Microsoft, including Rare, Turn 10, ZeniMax Media, and Bethesda Softworks, and played a pivotal role in Microsoft’s 2014 acquisition of Mojang studios, the creator of Minecraft. Previously, Matt was interim CEO at Midway Games, Chicago, where he started his career as an engineer. Matt holds a Master of Fine Arts degree and Bachelor of Science degrees in computer science and electrical engineering from Purdue University.

Munzoor Shaikh | Executive Vice President, The Terry Group

Munzoor serves as a bridge between C-level healthcare leaders and technology practitioners. He is a former director at West Monroe Partners, a technology consulting firm, where he was a a founder of and innovator in the firm’s Health Systems and Healthcare M&A practices. Munzoor maintains a visionary focus on the mission of healthcare organizations to improve patient care. He is also President of Bangladesh6G, a nonprofit dedicated to creating an abundant, holistic, and sustainable Bangladesh in six generations.

Scott G. Stephen | Chief Growth Officer, Guaranteed Rate

Scott grows major brands, entrepreneurial companies, and high-performing individuals beyond what they can visualize. As a result of his leadership at Guaranteed Rate, teams and individuals consistently exceed sales and revenue goals. A master dealmaker, Scott built Guaranteed Rate Insurance and led the development of internet-based mortgage services for Guaranteed Rate Online. As COO of Playboy Enterprises, Scott transitioned the magazine to online publishing. He helped pioneer permission-based email marketing as COO at Yesmail. Scott’s marketing ideas at Converse beat Nike in a key new market. Scott holds an MBA in marketing and organizational behavior from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management a Bachelor’s in finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Tom Terry | CEO, The Terry Group

Tom is an international leader in actuarial sciences. He is the former CEO of Compensation and Benefits Strategies at J.P. Morgan, which acquired his firm CCA Strategies. As president of the International Actuarial Association, Tom built consensus on standards and practices worldwide. He also served as president of three U.S. actuarial professional associations. Tom is Chairman of the Global Aging Institute and the Wright Foundation for the Development of Human Potential. Tom is dedicated to making healthcare and retirement more sustainable through cutting-edge analytics and technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Physics from Tufts University.
